The following conditions govern entries for Taste Food & Wine 2010

We are very pleased advise of some exicting changes to Taste Food & Wine, The Great Australian Red and The Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification this year.

Taste Food & Wine will take on an all new guise as a mobile electronic application for pdas, iphones, mobiles and computers to replace the printed book. This will take the form of an interactive food and wine matching program which features the best wines of the year, The Great Australian Red, The Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification, all the familiar features of Taste Food & Wine and a few new surprises.

We will continuously update the application with new tasting notes throughout the year, so there will not be a single deadline for submission of wines for Taste 2010 this year. Instead, we invite you to continue sending us samples of your new release vintages prior to their release throughout the year. We will taste these for consideration in the new application as well as all of our other publications - the Daily Mail (Matthew), Decanter (Matthew and Tyson), Spectator (Tyson), MoneyWeek (Matthew), WINE100 (Tyson), 100 Best Australian Wines (Matthew), Style Magazine (Tyson), Wineaway (Tyson) and Cork & Cheese (Tyson), among others.

There is no need to resend any wines that you have already sent us this year.

This change of format also brings a change of timing for The Great Australian Red competition, which will this year be judged in Adelaide in November. We will advise of full details for entries as soon as these have been finalised. Entry details will also be available for download from  www.thegreataustralianred.com. The Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification will be unveiled during ‘Pinot Noir’ in Wellington in January 2010.
