The following conditions govern entries for Taste Food & Wine 2010

Due to the large numbers of samples received, entries which do not comply with the following conditions will not be tasted.

In particular, Bottles not labelled with the RRP will not be considered.

Closing date

Finished, bottled wines must be received by Friday July 10, 2009.
2009 vintage, tank samples and newly bottled wines (only) will be accepted until Friday July 24, 2009.

Vintages

The book will be on sale from October 2009 through October 2010. Only vintages which will be available in the market in Australia and/or New Zealand during this period are eligible for submission. That is, vintages released in the second half of 2009 or early 2010.

Styles

All (sparkling, white, rosé, red, sweet and fortified).

State of completion

Finished, bottled wines and finished, blended barrel or tank samples (fully representative of the final blend) may be submitted.

Labelling

Every bottle must be labelled with the RRP (in AUD or NZD) and the regions from which fruit is sourced. Barrel and tank samples must be labelled with the full name of the finished wine.

Number of samples

Cork-sealed wines: Two bottles of each wine.
Screw-capped and crown-sealed wines: One bottle of each wine.
